COFFEE SHOP WANDERINGS
COFFEE SHOP LOVING
If you ask any of my dear friends, they will tell you we either met in a coffee shop, have a favorite shop we sit together and catch up at, or will confirm my love of a great cold brew! My instagram account: COLDBREWALLEY was actually inspired by my daily walk to Alfred in the Alley on Melrose everyday before work as a Creative Director for Kitson LA. I would talk about country music, fashion, women empowerment, the need for creative encouragement, and the love of coffee with co-workers, new friends, and my boss.
Nearly 6 months later, here I am pursuing my love of country music, fashion, and love of highlighting the talents of beautiful people with great hearts!
I typically meet with artists, creators, collaborators, and directors over a cup of coffee. I write my posts from my favorite shops, and find beauty in the decor, craft brews, and warmth of conversation. There is nothing like a great cup with great company. So here, is a list of my favorite shops to write from up the Southern California Coast. xx
COFFEE ON THE COAST: South to North
Click on each link to see their instagram page!
Hidden House Coffee, San Juan Capistrano CA: Cozy little cottage that is tucked away by the train depot. They roast in-house, support our troops and military, and have a lovely porch and patio to sit and sip the perfect americano.
Recreational Coffee, Long Beach CA: The best options for various roasts and available for brewing in every technique possible!
Bar Nine, Culver City CA: Go on a Sunday at noon for free coffee cupping!
Groundwork Coffee, Hollywood CA: The best iced almond milk latte in LA, hands down. They have great locations and large spaces to work.
Alfred in the Alley, West Hollywood CA: Picture perfect. Alfred Coffee has the best interior decor, making them an Instagram iconic landmark in LA.
NoSo Vita, Ojai CA: Sit outside, enjoy a cold brew on tap, and relax in the perfect Ojai weather.
Full of Beans, Ojai CA: Ask for the owner Dave and talk to him about his Harley, coffee, and travel.
Lucky Llama, Carpinteria CA: Locally owned and locally supported. You won't find another shop like this on the coast of California. Small town vibes.
The French Press, Santa Barbara CA: If you come to Santa Barbara message me & let's grab coffee!
Solvang Coffee Company, Solvang CA: Connected to my favorite book store. The only place I will recommend a blended Almond Chai Tea Latte. (Order it Half Sweet + Half Spice) xx
Kreuzberg Coffee Company, San Luis Obispo CA: Saved the best for last. This space holds so much goodness for me and I spend a lot of my time writing here. Head to Big Sky Cafe after for dinner!
